Derek Fisher, who knows a few things about scrappy play, was explaining what went wrong for the Utah Jazz in Game 2 when he found himself talking about the play of an uncelebrated and undrafted power forward.
"The play of Chuck Hayes has made a big difference," Fisher said. "The hustle plays always make a big difference between winning and losing."
Who would have guessed that the power forward with the undersized frame and akward free throw shooting form would have such an impact?
Hayes has his fingerprints -- not to mention sweat -- all over the Rockets' first round playoff series and has emerged as an unlikely star in the playoffs heading into Thursday's Game 3 at Salt Lake City.
