| Rockets vs. Jazz, Game 2 Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy acknowledges that his team did some good things defensively against the Utah Jazz in Saturday's playoff series-opening win. Unsurprisingly, he's still seeking more from his team on the defensive end heading into Game 2. Despite shutting down Utah's front line and forcing the Jazz to take mostly perimeter shots in Game 1, the Rockets are seeking an even better defensive effort heading into Game 2 Monday night at Toyota Center. The Rockets gained a 1-0 advantage in the first round playoff series by holding the Jazz to 35.6 percent shooting and limiting them to a franchise-low 75 points in a playoff game. | Notes: Rockets bury Jazz at the free throw line HOUSTON -- The Rockets were missing shots from just about every corner of Toyota Center during their Game 2 victory over the Utah Jazz. Well, almost everywhere. Despite enduring their second straight sub-40 percent shooting performance against the Jazz, the Rockets found a comfortable spot at the free throw line on Monday night. Houston stroked 34 of 38 free throws to knock down a 89.5 percent clip. During the fourth quarter along, the Rockets canned 16 of 18 shots from the stripe. | Rockets won't relax after seizing 2-0 series lead HOUSTON -- The Rockets aren't exactly ready to declare their first round playoff series against the Utah Jazz over after seizing a 2-0 lead. Despite gaining an early cushion in the best of seven series, the Rockets are fully aware that the series can swing into Utah's favor beginning with Game 3 Thursday night in Salt Lake City. The Rockets have, after all, only taken care of their home-court advantage in the first two games. "We can't get comfortable," Rockets forward Chuck Hayes said. "Just as quick as it's been 2-0 for us, it can easily be tied 2-2 after we go to Salt Lake City. We can't get comfortable and we can't get content. We have a great group of veterans who will lead us the way and the coaching staff is going to make sure that we don't get comfortable."
