Rockets star center Yao Ming looked over a stat sheet Sunday night and found a few things that he could have done better.
He didn't collect enough rebounds. He had four turnovers. And he once again got in foul trouble way too early in the game.
Yao mulled all of that over and concluded that he's still not back in vintage form.
"I'm getting better," Yao said. "But my turnovers are still too high and my rebounds are still too low. I don't know how long it will be before I make it all the way back."
Funny, the Orlando Magic could have sworn he was back.
Despite his nit-picky assessment, the star center had his strongest performance since returning from a fractured right tibia and carried the Rockets to an easy 103-92 victory over the Orlando Magic Sunday afternoon at Toyota Center.
