Rockets Spurs Game

HOUSTON -- Shortly before tip-off on Saturday night, Tony Parker, San Antonio’s All-Star point guard, was scratched from the lineup with a left hip flexor.

Unfortunately for the Rockets, Tim Duncan showed up in uniform.

With Parker seated on the bench in street clothes, Duncan overwhelmed the Rockets from the opening tip and helped the Spurs clobber Houston 97-74 in front of a packed house of 18,364 at Toyota Center.

Rockets suffer third straight home loss against Spurs
