| Yao Ming close to coming back HOUSTON -- During halftime of Wednesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors, Rockets center Yao Ming had a routine check-up on his right knee and was informed by the team's doctor that he could return to the practice court. He wondered aloud whether he might make a more immediate appearance on the hardwood. "The doctor told me last night, 'OK, you can start practice (Thursday),'" Yao said. | Rockets center will return to action against the Cavs HOUSTON -- Yao Ming has been working up a sweat and rehabbing his injured right leg for over two months behind closed doors. On Monday night, he'll finally be performing live again. Yao will return to the starting lineup Monday night when the Rockets visit LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena.
