Re: Astros Sign David Newhan

I didn't like this move when it happened and to be honest, I don't like it now either. He just that player who doesn't do anything good, or bad but I'd rather this team to get younger than older and look at him in Spring Training. Also, with the emergence of Jose Capellan, it's going to be harder to get him in. Like, we either give up on a promising prospect, or take a average veteran. Come on Houston, think in the future for once!

Thats a good point. A team like the Astros really need to concentrate on working the prospects and signing them to long term deals BEFORE they get good. The Rays had a thing like that going and they won the American League pennant last year.

Exactly, and this whole fan base has been waiting for this team to finish rebuilding, and I know they haven't finished. I mean, the team hasn't gotten any younger than they were at the end of last season, which angers me a little bit. Like at this point, if they don't get this team young and fresh, the whole is going to fall apart and at this point, noone is going to care...

They've got $110,785,598 tied up in players right now, I don't know how much that means they have left but whatever, it's what Fox Sports says and at this point, I have to trust them!
