Astros cut Jose Cruz Jr.
The Houston Astros have released OF Jose Cruz Jr., calling up OF Reggie Abercrombie to replace him.

According to the Associated Press, "The 34-year-old Cruz has been a minimal contributor for the Astros this season. He is just 6-for-49 (.122) with no home runs and one RBI... Abercrombie is batting .288 with nine homers and 25 RBI for [Class AAA] Round Rock." So, good move?
