The Astros have acquired right handed closer Jose Valverde from the Arizona Diamondbacks for three players: IF Chris Burke, RHPs Chad Qualls, and Juan Gutierrez.

A good trade IMO. Valverde is a solid closer. Burke is a nice player but he's not going to be a superstar.

I don't think teh Diamondbacks will be done in their dealing. Who do tehy have to take Valverde's spot? I don't see anybody on their depth chart that can take over.

Great pickup for the Astros. Now they finally have reliability at the end of their bullpen.
