Why is there not an outcry for Selig's head for falling asleep at the wheel, or worse, for looking the other way?...

Why is he "Clean" in all of these?

I mean this whole report is for him to feel good about himself...this circus in not in the interest of baseball.

Well, from what I've heard, Mitchell does rip Selig and baseball in the report for allowing a "drug culture" to exist in baseball. Something like that.

Hopefully as he says that, he does so knowing that such a culture does not exist in Congress.

The report says:

"Adam Piatt admitted he had access to steroids and human growth hormone and agreed to obtain them for Tejada. Piatt recalled that he provided Tejada with testosterone or Deca-Durabolin, as well as human growth hormone. Piatt emphasized that he did not know whether Tejada actually used the substances.

Piatt’s bank provided two checks deposited into Piatt’s account that had been
written to him from Miguel Tejada. The checks are dated March 21, 2003 and are in the amounts of $3,100 and $3,200 respectively. Both are included in the Appendix."

So there are checks.

As I said before, the Astros should have waited a couple of days to complete that deal. The price would have been cheaper.
