| Astros Sign Kaz Matsui The Daily Herald reports the Houston Astros have reportedly signed free-agent second baseman Kaz Matsui to a three-year deal worth $15 million. "The switch-hitting Matsui, 32, played for the National League-champion Colorado Rockies this year, batting .288 with 4 home runs and a .342 on-base percentage, well above his career OBP of .325."      |

| Re: Astros Sign Kaz Matsui I still think it's a dumb idea for Matsui to leave Colorado. His production will drop off tremendously this year, just you wait and see. |
