| Houston claims OF Reggie Abercrombie According to the Associated Press, "Outfielder Reggie Abercrombie off waivers by the Houston Astros on Thursday from the Florida Marlins... Abercrombie hit .197 with two home runs, five RBIs and seven stolen bases in 35 games for Florida. He started the season with Triple-A Albuquerque and hit .323 with 17 homers and 55 RBIs.
