Good way to put the punctuation mark on a great career - Craig Biggio played catcher for two innings during Houston's 3-2 win over Atlanta yesterday. It was the first time since 1992 that he caught. He asked manager Cecil Cooper for permission to do so, and the skipper agreed. "It was fun," Biggio told reporters afterwards. "I enjoyed it a lot. It was fun just walking out to the bullpen to warm up before the game."

I have had my doubts about his career, but as the season winds down, I think he will be a HOFer. I don't remember another player quite like him.
