Astros Close to Acquiring Jon Garland
The juicy talk early this morning was the Houston Astro's pursuit of Chicago White Sox righty Jon Garland. Fox Sports believes the 'Stros will have to part with center fielder Willy Taveras and right-handed pitching prospects Taylor Buchholz and Jason Hirsh.
