| Roy Oswalt NL ERA title Roy Oswalt of the Houston Astros finished the 2006 season with the best ERA in the National League, 2.98. He's the only NL hurler with an earned run average under 3.00, and he was second in the majors to only Johan Santana of the Twins. Think Oswalt has a shot at the Cy Young Award because of this?

| Re: Roy Oswalt NL ERA title I still like Zambrano for the Cy Young. A higher ERA but he was 16-7 with a lot less hits allowed per innings pitched and a strikeout an inning, all while playing for baseball's version of the Washington Generals. |

| Re: Roy Oswalt NL ERA title A lot of baseball fans have problems with pitchers going out ther and pitching seven innings a start. Back in the day, a full game was a regular feat and nothing special. Today, it is a rare occurance that deserves applause? |
