Roger Clemens of the Houston Astros was forced out of today's start in the fifth inning with a strained right groin muscle. The Rocket is currently listed as day-to-day and after the game, he told the AP "I feel better. The tenderness I felt has relaxed... I'm still on for Saturday unless something changes. We'll give it a chance to heal and see what happens."

I'd only expect him to miss a start, if that. He keeps himself in such tip top shape, I'm sure he knows what his body needs.

It doesn't seem like anything serious. For someone his age, I would expect him to suffer minor injuries like this because his body doesn't work as well as it did when he was close to twenty. I think we should play on, and the Astros will find a temporary replacement for now.
