| Whats what in Hockey 11/3 - 11/9 Well last week for What's What in hockey I was a little rushed for time. This week I have a little more time to cover everything that needs to be covered.
Last week in Hockey we saw some teams going on long away game trips. I think Detroit caught the brunt of this, at one point they played 5 games in 7 days. And by the second to last road game you could see how wore down they were from being away from their home ice for so long.
People always overlook how much being off your home ice factors into the psychiatric part of the game. Even the toughest of Hockey players will admit that they have been put on cold streaks because of the boo's that come when your playing away games. The trick about it is turning those boo's into inspiration to perform better than you do on your home ice. Also, on the up side, Winning on the road gives you extra momentum that can carry onto your home ice. Homemtown fans will do what they can to hear your games when they can't be at the arena watching you.
Anyways, Let's dive into how I am doing on picks. Going into this week I am 54/118 or 45.7% overall.

You can not let a Goalie get injuries. A Goalie is your last line of defense. Losing 2 goalies (ST. Louis) is like putting a nail in your coffin. And the Blues have had a stellar season thus far. Other injuries to note, Pavol Demitra Zach Bogosian, Joel Lundqvist, and Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond(I will admit I just like this name cause he has 2 first names and 2 last names...I wonder what his middle name is) Blues seem to be the worse off right now, least worried team would be Ducks, Lightning, and Sharks.
Have the standings changed any? Well lets look! East: Atlantic-Rangers still lead with a 10-3-1 record Scoring them 21 points. Northeast-Montreal Has the lead, barely, 8-1-1 with 17 points, Buffalo is 7-2-2 16 points. South East-Carolina is on top 6-3-2 14 points. West: Center-Detroit is up in the Center 8-2-2 With 18 points. Northwest-Minnesota is 7-2-1, Calgary is 7-4-1, both have 15 points, MN is in the lead though. Pacific-SJ 10-2-0 with 20 points
So your top 6 teams are:
1. Rangers
2. SJ
3. Detroit
4. Montreal
5. Minnesota
6. Carolina
