Boudreau is the sports writers favourite but I like carbonneau for it.

How has he been the best coach?
Even though Price was doing great, the Huet trade was dumb. He didn't do much with the team, either. The Price thing was all luck. He didn't know Price was that good.

That wasn't Carbonneau's decision, that was Gainey's.
Montreal didn't make it into the post season last year. they are in round two this year.
not that hard to figure it out.
The price thing was not luck, btw. They knew he was good from the start.

and what's with the constant hurrah-ing of Huet? reminder again - he couldn't get the Caps past the first round. price did get the Habs past the first round. i don't think there was ever any looking back.
