| Re: What would be best for the NHL? It also doesn't mention San Jose or Phlily at all. Just sayin... It sure doesn't seem like an anti Canada thing to me, just the same old BS we always hear in the States. US reporting only cares about the big cities, and always thinks we are too dumb as fans to watch good sport without cities like NYC.

| Re: What would be best for the NHL? Thanks Phil. There is this feeling by many down south that a Canadian team in the finals is death to the NHL - but it's actually just bad for American ratings. That it needs to end up with a northern US team vs. a southern US team. So Rangers vs. dallas is the tv ideal. I say the original six are always at the back of my mind. nyr, detroit toronto (weep weep) montreal chicago and boston. philly for me has always been the secret seventh member. |

| Re: What would be best for the NHL? Okay, now see, I voted for the Pens, and maybe I'm biased, but I don't think so. I think the league, in it's heart of hearts, wants to see its young stars take the playoff spotlight. I would've voted the same way if this was Ovetchkin and the Caps instead of Crosby and the Pens. I truly believe the NHL wants fans to get excited about these guys, since they're the future of the game.

| Re: What would be best for the NHL? Ideally the best situation for the NHL would be the NYR vs LA Kings in the final with Sidney Crosby playing for the rangers and Ovechkin playing for the Kings. The height of the NHL in the USA was when Mark Messier Captained the Rangers to the Stanley Cup in 1994. |
