Norris Trophy nominees
Another yawn- the top defencemen are:
hey look lidstrom is on the list.
Lidstrom has been nominated 9 times in the last ten years and he's won it five.
Chara is nominated too. should make Hab fans mad.
and Phaneuf.
Okay - Phaneuf gets my vote - if I had one.

Okay - Phaneuf gets my vote - if I had one.
Phaneuf had a fine season...even had a 5 assist game...but he is no Bobby Orr... Sad that Lidstrom doesn't get some good competition these days.

Sergei Gonchar derserves mention and is overlooked in the voting. Lidstrom wins any so ok

The NHL needs a few more trophys awarded at the end of the year. Best Pest and best Enforcer. The fans should be able to vote too.

No way - that would mean Avery would get the pest award - no trophies for Avery.

there's been no one like Avery before this.
The Mosquito Award, comes to mind. But at least mosquitoes exist as food for larger bugs.
