Crosby gets an A+, Boyes cries

Crosby gets an A plus (this all from the local daily The Star). Duh.
Denis gets a B-. The semi final was his first loss in 14 games (bummer). Then he allowed 5 goals on 11 Swedish shots. Still, could anyone stop the Swedes? No.
Auld gets a C for early tournament games, and taking over from Denis in the semi final.
Who else fared well? Bergeron, Shanahan, Comrie, Robidas.
Boyes played well too, and apparently there were tears running down his face after loss to the swedes - which begs the question, once again: how come men are allowed to cry at sports events and nowhere else?

Hey, I will take the B- for our keeper Denis...

...and I don't know about the crying thing...my dad told me after I lost a fight at five that guys don't cry and I took it to heart...

Of course, when the Beast dies in the Disney Beauty and the Beast movie...I almost, almost got misty eyed... ...those darn Disney movies...

I think men should be able to cry whenever - but you never see them as misty eyed as they are when they lose a game.
did you stay to see that the Beast actually lives?

Yeah, I think I saw it like 7 times in the theater (a phase I was going through)... ...and yeah, the Beast lives...but, he had a lot more character as the beast instead of the prince...once he comes back as the prince, its like, hey...bring back the beast he was cooler...

Anyway, my favorite "guy crying after losing a game bit" ...was Royal shortstop Freddie patek crying his heart out in the Royal Dugout after they lost the championship series to the Yankees in 1978...man he took it hard.

Re: Crosby gets an A+, Boyes cries

my favourite crying moment was when ben crenshaw won the masters in 1995, the same year his instructor harvey Penick died.
he lost it, and so did I.

Well good to see you have a soft side...all this talk about the gritty Darcy Tucker were making me wonder...

Any tears for the Beast dying though?

Tears? i don't think so. I got caught up in it though.
And you are right, the beast was so much better as the beast.

Yeah, not that it has anything to do with hockey or pro's crying after a win or a lose...but, once you get use to the Beast, the whole Prince thing is anti-climactic...maybe it’s my love of underdogs...I like it when Belle whacks him with a snow ball...but hey...uhm...yeah...moving on now...Crosby got an A+ huh?...third coming of the Great one...(Mario was the second coming, and Lindros...well...lets forget him)

Re: Crosby gets an A+, Boyes cries

Did Ovechkin win Rookie of the Year yet? Even though Crosby is great and all, Ovechkin deserves it because of that amazing goal he made.

Crosby will be a great player someday.
