There was lots of talk yesterday about players who may get moved and never did.
Tanguay was an early confirmed No Mover by his GM.
But what about Roloson - who i thought for sure would be the best goalie get - and then Huet went to Washington, shocking all.
who else was talked up?
Peca. Sundin - who refused to waive his no trade clause as did McCabe, Kubina and Kaberle - I heard a funny line, that ex GM ferguson handed out no trade clauses like candy. Story is that Kubina had said he would waive it, then after the great win vs. ottawa the other night, he said, I'm staying.
Satan? Fedetenko?
Jokinen-the GM decided just to ride it out, and trade him when they want to.
Ryder. Rob Blake (also said he would not waive his no trade clause, although it seemed he was hoping to rejoin the Avs).
I wonder if something will still become of these players, even now the deadline has passed, or if they will remain where they are.
