so you don't think Ottawa has the gumption to go all the way either? Why is that, now that Martin's gone? Is it Alfredsson's leadership? Goalie? Morale? What?

I don't know...maybe it's just wishfull thinking. They haven't been playing well since losing Hasek, though. As important as the goalie is in the regular season, he's twice as important in the post season. Ottawa's got great scoring and good defence, but they without Hasek, they don't have the goaltending.

Also the playoff's are a grind and lack of grit is what's always stopped Ottawa from advancing far.

That and Toronto.

My symbolic hat is off to you for doing a thorough first match-up through to the finals map. I don't think carolina's going to go that far, though. Not sure why. They don't seem to have the guts (or maybe I'm just hoping gerber'll come cheap). Of course, not practically but ideally who would I like to win?
