The NHL has announced that it will have its first ever Ice Bowl.The Ice will be played on New Years day outdoors! The Ice Bowl can be seen on NBC or live on Buffalo's streets.Is this entertaining, just anthor hockey game or just plain dumb.

Hey Montreal and i think it was Edmonton had a fun game out doors last year - no the season before that. because Theodore, when he was a Hab- he wore his toque on top of his mask.
It was a huge hit, didn't count but felt like a real old style game. I think it was part of hockey day in canada, which is a yearly celebration across the country.
So i think that's a great idea, because it gets pretty damn cold in Buffalo and pittsburgh.

Its a regular game played outdoors. So you can see Sid the Kid skating around outdoors freezing his but off.
