k, I know its a bit early for this, but a couple weeks into the NHL off-season, and im already craving more hockey. How do u think the 2007-2008 NHL season will turn out?

In terms of the playoffs, i think we can expect the Ducks to do a much better job defending their title than Carolina did.....much better, expect to see them in the semi-finals at the very least. I think and hope that this MIGHT be the year for the good ol' leafs...not saying they'll win the cup, but they'll make the playoffs at the very least, hopefully make it past the first round at the very least. GO LEAFS GO

Man, I hope you're right about the Pens. It'll be interesting to see how the free agent season impacts all this. Who might the Ducks add or lose?

Yeah, the Ducks are losing - or possibly losing - some major factors on their cup winning team. true, carolina sunk like a battleship this season, but with neidermayer and Selanne questionable, they could be a very different team come October.
it's so hard to say at this point who's going to do what because so much is happening right now - goalies are moving like pegs on a playing board, who knows where everyone will end up.
Things I do believe - Pittsburgh will do better. Toronto will do better. Philly will do better.
The teams I am curious to see how they change things are: nashville (of course, as it's a circus out there), Montreal, Ottawa. i want to see who stays with Buffalo. I want to watch what crazy Keenan does in Calgary. I want to see Vancouver continue to get great.
And where will hasek be?

Plan? Did I say we had a plan?...right now, its simple...we are rising from the ashes and well not looking so dead...one step at a time...

But okay, I would soften the home ice when we play fast teams and really, really smooth it over like fine glass against slow ones...I would have our teams defense master the dislodging of the net when things get a bit hairy at our end...there is an art to that, and we should practice!...I would strategically hire local strippers to distract the oppositions goalie... making the payment plan based on the amount of goals they give up...

Oh and do we have a corporate jet or do we charter trips? Cause I think we need a jet so the team feels good about itself...

Oh, and we need to get Fedorov hooked up with Anna again...it might remind him of his younger days...

But all this is subject to change of course...its not a set plan yet.

I think it's way too early to predict. Free agency hasn't even kicked in...Will my Islanders sign Ryan Smyth and/or Jason Blake, if not, who will they bring in? Same thing with all the teams....But love the enthusiasm oggie!!

Im sorry, but unless the Jackets make some big moves during the free agency period, nothing is gonna change in columbus, and besides, your from Orlando, why are u such a Jackets fan?

Because we are all over my man...we are legion...

I think the Jackets have a lot more talent then they showed last year...the year before they had shown some of the talent down the stretch and were on the verge of making the playoffs, I suspect a return to that form.
