Love the enthusiasm, but we couldn't support the Solar Bears when they were a minor league franchise. I do not see it happening.

All I am saying is you have one of the biggest if not the biggest (don't know my Canada that well) city in Canada...one of the few, if not the only that can possibly support two teams. You want Canadian teams...you complain about Florida teams...but for the good of the NHL and Canada you are not willing to give up a tiny, tiny, little piece of Toronto...lol...okay well let them come to Florida....

Here's me, being a proud freakin northerner. Um, it's where the ice is.
I would have thought Florida thanked their lucky stars they actually have 2 team in the NHL. if I ruled the world, that would never have been allowed to happen - manitoba would have those 2 teams.

Forget Florida, let's start putting teams in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. The further south, the better apparently. And ice is so overrated. Just add built-in floatation devices to the skates for when it starts to melt (midway through the first period). It's pure genius!

More hockey teams for Canada, please. They're the ones supporting the sport, not us. They deserve the extra teams.

People would have to migrate to Manitoba first...Last I checked Winnipeg did not do such a swell job keeping a team...

And maybe it should dawn on you snow birds that Florida is vastly populated by Northerners wanting to escape the snow...thus it would figure that when you couple that with the growth it is going through that someone would say, hey, "What if we put a team down there."

But sure, go ahead and rule the world some...Contract the NHL to the few teams that Toronto can actually beat so you may once again hoist the Cup... (how's that for trash talking?... )
