Since these are the only 2 hockey movies that I can think of that are even worth discussing, which did everyone like better? I liked Miracle but Slap Shot was a classic.

For the younger fans, if you don't know who the Hansen Brothers are, go rent Slap Shot. Great, hysterical movie.

I've got to go with Miracle. I loved that movie. Seen it at least a half-dozen times.

Totally Different Movies...You want a classic laugh...Slap Shot's the ticket...you want a lift to your spirits Miracle is great...though in Russia the movie is market it under the title "Those American SOBs who got Lucky one Olympics"

...oh and lets not forget that timeless classic "Hockey Night"...with Canadian actress Megan Fellows as a girl goalie...(hey its actually a cute movie really )

Agreed - they are completely different movies you really can't compare.

My favorite hockey movie growing up was Youngblood. It's super cheesy but ohsogood. Keanu Reeves as a foreign hockey player, Rob Lowe as the fiery rookie with something to prove, Patrick Swayze as the veteran who takes him under his wing, and a Peter Zezel cameo - what more can you ask for?
