- Ed Belfour is likely to be dealt by Thursday. I will say 75%. Edmonton is the most likely destination

- Leafs are looking at Comrie, Mara and Joseph from Phoenix, and may offer a package deal to get all three

- Chris Simon could be dealt to Calgary along with Leopold. No word on who would go the other way

- From a source, "Daigle is likely to end up in Atlanta".

- Todd Bertuzzi is still on the market, but according to several sources, the price is very high

- The same goes for Tkachuk, the price is very high. Philly, NYR, and Buffalo are all in the mix

- The Hurricanes are looking at Sergei Samsonov

- Ottawa, San Jose, Philadelphia and Dallas have all made calls about Mark Rechhi

I know quite a few Bruins fans who would be thrilled if the B's unloaded Samsonov.

The Canes are certainly going to miss Eric Cole. I wonder if they'll try to replace him before the deadline.

I'm a massive Mark Recchi fan...I've had his jersey since his first stint with the Flyers. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him come back home to Philly (expecially after the hattrick he had Sat night), as long as we didn't have to give much up. If I'm the Penguins, I'm trying to get a young defenseman in exchange for recchi. The Pens' defense has been atrocious all year.

I can't believe Daigle is still in the NHL. What a bust he turned out to be.

i'd be thrilled if they got rid of samsonov. kevin paul dupont said they'd probably only get a 2nd round draft pick for him. maybe a 2nd and a 3rd. that's fine. i'll take it. then they've got to get rid of murray, which is highly unlikey, i'm pretty sure he's owed 4mil a year for 3 years after this one, then raycroft needs to go. not sure why he sucks this year, new rules, pads, total fluke, but he's got to go to let toivonen play even if he's not healthy for a while. get what you can for him. so hopefully they miss the playoffs by 10 points or more, o'connell and hopefully sinden go, and they start over.

More Flyers trade rumors. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, if Recchi isn't moved to Philly, he'll be sent to Calgary. Though, most are expecting see him in Philly by week's end. Other players the Flyers might be interested in include:

Derek Morris, Geoff Sanderson or Mike Johnson of Phoenix, and Wes Walz of Minnesota.

According to the Courier-Post, these players would also make sense for the Flyers:

N.Y. Islanders' Mark Parrish, Shawn Bates and Brad Lukowich; St. Louis' Dallas Drake and Eric Weinrich; Phoenix's Mike Ricci; Edmonton's Michael Peca; and Buffalo's Jay McKee
