Most expensive hockey stick in the world

It's been appraised at $4.25 million and is said to be an important piece of "Canadiana" and hockey history. It's the oldest hockey stick in the world. It was carved from a single piece of wood sometime between 1852 and 1856. It'll be auctioned on ebay - $$ raised goes to fanscharity.com and the World Charity award program (not sure what either charity does, haven't heard of them before).
I don't think I can afford it, but it'd look good on my son's wall, beneath his Sundin one.

I'll add that to my want list.

There is no way that I am going to shed close to $4M for a hockey stick.

Totally unrelated, but if the "Big Pool" freezes over...do the monsters in the pool freeze beneath the ice as well?...

Oh, and what the heck?...that's 4X more than the most expensive baseball card...got to gain a perspective on this sort of thing...

I asked him - he said if the big pool freezes over, than the monsters run and they fall on their bums and the ice cracks and then they jump on the ice, and then the 2 sharks come get them.
He has it all worked out.

This made me smile today...I especially like the part where the 2 sharks come get them...Obviously the sharks are friendly to the kids and only hate the monsters...that sounds about right to me. Much more cool than say Power Rangers come out and beat up the monsters...
