The Sports Network asked the 30 NHL GMs some questions about the upcoming season.
Some interesting opinions:
Buffalo or Ottawa should take the eastern Conference.
Anaheim should win the West.
Boston is the most improved team in the east - folllowed by pittsburgh, Atlanta and Florida.
Minnesota is most improved in west, followed by Anaheim and Columbus.
Favoured to won the Cup?
Anaheim.

Wonder if it helped to take the 'Mighty' out of the name.
The sportsnetwork.com also has a list of the top 30 guys to watch. They say watch cloutier for the Kings, which surprised me because Cloutier was a dud in vancouver - but then, they also say, watch Raycroft in Toronto.

Interesting about Pittsburgh. I wonder how much everyone thinks they've improved. I doubt they're a playoff team but I guess you never know.
