So as everyone should know I go to the University of Vermont...pretty big hockey school. Well yesterday I went to my first game. So all along I've known there were 4 hockey players that live on the same floor in my dorm. What I learned last night at the game is that 2 of them are NHL draft picks. I just felt like sharing that cause it is really cool...unfortunetly none of them were drafted by my Flyers

Thats pretty cool i usually try to catch College Hockey on CBS Sports or CSTV Dont really root for anyone but for some reason college hockey(unless its NHL postseason or near the postseason) is much more exciting to me basically in every sport. Also what teams did they go to in the NHL.

I believe the one was drafted by Buffalo and the other Tampa Bay

Drew MacKenzie was selected in the seventh-round (209 overall) by Buffalo. Freshman David Pacan was a sixth-round pick (177 overall) by Chicago in the 2009 draft.

yeah drew lives on my floor but the other one i belive is matt marshall drafted by tampa bay in 07 then also at uvm is kyle medvec drafted by minnesota in 06
