At the midpoint of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, Rick Hendrick has the top three drivers in the standings and a virtual lock on winning the championship. And if Jimmie Johnson, who leads by 90 points heading into his best track on the circuit, Mark Martin or Jeff Gordon were somehow to falter in pursuit of the title, Tony Stewart (fourth in points) is lying in wait with a Chevrolet chassis built and powered by Hendrick Motorsports.

I believe Rick will attend, because of all he has accomplished since then, basically in memory of those lost!
