Packers at Buccaneers

Packers (2-1) at Buccaneers (2-1)

Last week
Brian Griese threw a franchise-record 67 passes as the Bucs rallied late to beat the Bears, 27-24, in overtime.. ... Green Bay played host to Dallas on Sunday night and suffered its first loss of the season, 27-16.

Can only hope for the Bucs to win this one, 27-24.

Packers lost, 31-21.

It seems as though there once again might be questions about Rogers' durability.

I was just about to post I wonder how long before guys begin the Favre never got hurt stuff? Well he's not Favre in the durability dept. but he was doing very well before he suffered that injury against some great teams. Lets see the official word on Rodgers' shoulder and if he'll play next week before the Favre candlelight vigil starts!

My husband turned the Packer game on yesterday (must have been a realllly slooow day on tv) and he said that he heard this is the second time in 4 games Rodgers had to sit out due to an injury.
Favre sprained his ankle last Monday in the game against the Chargers. He played yesterday. I'm not in line for the candlelight vigil but I can see where fans are coming from.
People are different. Their bodies are different: how much punishment they can take, how quickly they heal, etc.
I believe Rodgers deserves his chance and people coming at him because he was hurt isnt fair. He is just stepping into some mighty big shoes in Green Bay.

No, but he sat down on the bench during two different games and their backup is a rookie.

Wait a tick. Farve use to always get injured. He just played while he was still hurt. He broke his thumb and still threw passes one year.

Anyways, this young kid might wanna start getting more durable. He's playing for Green Bay, their O line hasn't been good at protecting the pocket for 10 years now.

Not the first year. It's happened 3 years where he's played injured. First year he just gripped the ball with his fingers better. Following that he started getting addicted to painkillers, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Prolly how he played on his ankle this past week.
