Aaron Rodgers Watch

So Brett Favre's gone, and it's Aaron Rodgers show now.

The kid made his first start of the preseason against the Bengals on Monday night. So how'd he do? 9-for-15, 117 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, led two scoring drives and was sacked twice. He left the game with a 10-0 lead (Green Bay eventually lost).

"I understand the attention around him, his performance tonight and him playing tonight." Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters afterwards. "But I saw Aaron just like he is every day. I thought he went out there, he played with excellent energy, which I always recall him playing with. I think he’s done a really good job being consistent, and understanding that the microscope is on him."

So how would you grade his performance in the Cincinnati game?

Re: Aaron Rodgers Watch

I honestly think he did fine. If the coach thinks he played how he should, then it should be fine. I think he may have to start making decisions a little quicker, but that should be self taught as he plays more.

All in all a fine first performance for him in my opinion.
