what if the Green Bay Packers go 8-8 or worse this season with Rodgers as the QB ?

better still how about if Favre leads another team (the Bucs) deep into the playoffs ?

The GM should be fired anyway for prolonging this madness as it is. He handled it the worst possible way and the Packers are simply going to be a circus this year.

Agreed. Nothing short of a trip to the Super Bowl will save his job.
They have to go further than they did last year; anything else will be a failure.

True they said they wanted to move on as a franchise. I think that means that they are willing to lose currently to get better with Rodgers.

It wouldn't surprise me and THIS time I can't blame the media that much for creating this disaster Favre and the Packers organization created. They did that mostly themselves.

I don't really see it happening, unless Rogers is a real failure. The Packers have a pretty solid team and a good coach, 8-8 is probably the worst they could go next season.

Im gunna go out of my way to not watch packers games. Im sick of hearing the word favre, he'll be talked about during every interception or bad throw made by rogers

Well I guess thats what happens when your a young guy who is just replacing a legend. It's big shoes to fill.

If the Packers go 8-8, the fans should feel pretty happy because it looks like there may be good things out there for that team.
It would be nice if the fans would accept him and not boo him every time he makes an error. It could help him. But not a chance that will happen.
If they do worse, it just means they have a lot of work to do.
