Rodgers:Its going to be a dogfight

If there is going to be competition for the quarterback position, Aaron Rodgers says he is ready for it and "It will be a dogfight"
His performance at Family Night was less than stellar with 7 completions out of 20 attempts and 2 interceptions, at which the crowd booed.
Keep in mind though, that this was just a scrimmage. Someone close to him said that when the competition began, Rodgers would be ready.

I don't see how he thinks he stands a chance. If it is an actual competition and not just a ploy, Favre should win the job easily. he is coming off one of his best seasons ever.

I agree with Az here. If they were going to stick with Rodgers then they were going to have to be patient and sit through his growing pains. With the Drama Queen Favre he won't have any growing pains on the field although mentally this man has a LOT of growing up to do!! LOL!! I really just want this over with. The Packers have dragged this on long enough. It's getting like Days Of Our Lives whenever Marlena gets kidnapped or something.

Granted they may have to wait for Rodgers to mature as a great QB but Favre can only go downhill. Mother nature is not on his side.

True but coming off a great 2007 I think he'll do well in all honesty.

Favre's in his head already, and the boos sure aren't going to help matters.
There is absolutely NO WAY Aaron Rodgers can beat out Brett Favre in an open competition after all this. None.

Too bad for Rogers, every mishap he has during the season, people will probably be chanting "We want Farve."
