Favre arrives at Green Bay

It looked like the arrival of the President for sure, but no, it was Brett Favre at Austin Straubel field. Fans lined the fence and Farvre waved and smiled at his adoring fans. ()
Now the Packers have done their own version of the Flip-Flop. First saying that Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback, now Mike McCarthy says Favre is reinstated, will go through the physical, and then he and Favre will have a talk. After that talk, the team will make their decision as to how they will proceed on the matter and first talk to the team. It will be made public after that.

Re: Favre arrives at Green Bay

I know the streets of Green Bay must be full waiting for Farve. I guess he is like the president of Green Bay.

Re: Favre arrives at Green Bay

I think the participants in this little love triangle deserve each other. The Packers and Favre because they are such FLIP-FLOPS and the fans for their short memory. It was only a couple of years ago that they were making jokes about Favre starting a bakery and being the Turnover King. He was awful, the team was awful.
I have seen littler things than this disrupt the chemistry of a locker room. Add to this the Ryan Grant hold out and I predict this team will be awful this year. No matter the party line, there has to be players who have allegiance to Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers gets the stick end of this deal. Its unlikely he can compete with Favre in training camp.

I hope I am wrong too. That would be just too cool for words if Rodgers beat him out. But I saw a couple of plays Rodgers made last night at Family night on the news.
Of course the only time I have saw Brett in action was at a high school. But he looked physically fit and very sure of himself.

If LSC is right, maybe when Rodgers beats him out for the starting job.

Well he gets enough attention playing football so i'd say late February at the earliest barring a colossal meltdown. Wow! Looks like Aaron Rodgers is going to get dumped by the curb and drama queen Farvey is just going to get his way by acting like a child. I wonder what's going to happen in February when he "retires" again? Makes me glad all of this....glad that i'm a Giants fan and that not even the darkest days with Dave Brown under center would they put up with this soap opera mess!

Farve or Rogers, it doesn't matter, the Vikings D-Line wont be giving them any breathing room.
