Boy retires Favre Jersey

Remember the boy who got a Favre Jersey in 2005 for Christmas and wore it every day?
Well, after 1,581 days he has retired the jersey.
His last day wearing it was April 23, his 12th birthday.
His name is David Witthoft and he lives in Ridgefield Connecticut.

You know I keep wondering about that. Did he wash it every night? Or rather his mother? Or did he really have more than one?
