| Packers playing risky business at QB spot How long can the Packers wait to find out how far along Brohm is? He has passed the eye test, but still has a long way to go. McCarthy says they dont play to add a veteran quarterback at back up. After 3 seasons behind Favre, Rogers is as ready as he will ever be. But he is injury prone. Brian Brohm, Matt Flynn(other qb they picked up in draft) and Aaron Rodgers are going to be the Packer's quarterbacks at the opening of the season and none of them have ever started an NFL game. The Pack are gambling that the two young rookies will be ready to step in if necessary on game day. WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL Sounds very risky to me. I have said before I think Rodgers is ready, but he gets hurt very easily.
