Thumbs down Brett Favre Proving Himself Not To Have The Packers Best Interests At Heart

This guy to me is the Evander Holyfield of football in that I believe he will promise to retire multiple times only to come back and play until no other team want's him on their roster due to ineffectiveness. I tell ya for someone who was "all about the team" and "always had the Packers best interests at heart" Brett Favre won't let this organization move on from him. I mean he is really coming across as nothing more than an attention whore lately who seemed to have needed a new wrinkle in his yearly "will he/wont he" retirement talks. What a disservice to Aaron Rodgers if not the Packers in general. Rodgers must be looking over his shoulder praying that this guy stays retired and I think that could very well affect his playing. I really hate to say this about someone I held in high regard but the way this drama queen's "retirement" is unfolding each day is making me wonder if all that charity work he did for New Orleans was merely another opportunity for Favre to smile in front of the camera and let everyone know what a good guy he is.

Dusty, you wouldnt be yanking on my chain by some chance would you????

Brett Favre will NOT play again, he does NOT want to play again. If the media lets him alone, you will NOT see him in the news. He will just disappear, like a ghost Donald Driver says.

No Bette of course i'm not yanking your chain. You're a great lady here far beyond me however the media is not forcing Favre to make these coy comments on a possibility of a return. No, those are coming from Brett's own mouth and frankly i'm disappointed in him. If he was really all for the Packers he would be telling the news that he's going to enjoy retirement much the way John Elway told the press when he retired. Maybe as I also said he should start diverting the questions from himself to what a great team the Pack has (and they do) and a gentleman known as Aaron Rodgers. It just seems like Brett Farve is starved for attention and is rapidly becoming the Paris Hilton of the NFL.

The analogy I'm hearing is Roger Clemens. That is way off though, Roger Clemens come back comes about a third into the season with three of four months left.

If Brett Farve came back a third of the way threw year, he would be back in around week 5.

Brett make a decision, either retire now or go back now.

Favre couldn't possibly come back that late in the season, with no training camp, and be effective though. Football don't work that way.
