Brett Favre coming back?

Well, the rumors have started already. Brett Favre may be considering a comeback with another team. According to various sources, including ESPN, his agent has allegedly been contacting other teams to gauge their interest in trading for the currently retired Packers QB. This should surprise no one, right? We all expected these rumors. So, will he come back or not?

Re: Brett Favre coming back?

I would have to guess that he won't come back. He has been a Packer for almost his whole career. I can't see him wanting to play for another team when he was on the verge of something in Green Bay when he walked away.

Re: Brett Favre coming back?

I don't think Favre is gonna play anymore. It just seemed that he had enough football for his life and it's time to move on and I wish him the best. I hope he doesn't disgrace himself by coming back and quarterbacking some team like the Ravens or something.

His agent seems to be denying it, so maybe there's nothing to the story. But as they say, where there's smoke, there's usually fire.

I agree with your assessment. No point in returning when he was happy (?) where he was. I'm sure he could have gotten the money he wanted. He knows the organization. Why start all over again with some unproven commodity ?

I doubt it very much, but I dont understand the holdup on his retirement papers, unless its a mental thing and its over, but he just cant quite come to grips with it yet. If you understand what I mean.

Re: Brett Favre coming back?

i agree here .... if he wants to win it all his best bet is to stay in Green Bay ..... all other teams with a shot are set at QB .... its not like the Colts will sit Peyton to bring in Favre

Yeah ... I had all kinds of troubles signing my retirement papers. I waited 31 plus years to sign them !!! I hated to leave.
