Brett Favre's retirement could be a wonderful thing for Craig Nall, but then again, maybe not.
Nall is one of several unrestricted free agent quarterbacks on the market. It remains to be seen whether the Packers will make an offer to keep him.
He knows he's a career back up and is ok with that, but had not planned on staying in Green Bay if Favre had not retired. That would make him the No.3 quarterback again and there arent many opportunities at that position.
McCarthy and the Packers have not said anything to date to indicate what their inclination is on the subject.

He's been there a while, right? Might not be a bad idea to keep him around so he can help newly signed/drafted QBs the ropes of the Packer offense.
