There isnt any other qb who was better in tight situations. I have seen plays that he has made that made me blink..He's one of the toughest, you dont have 275 consecutive starts in this league unless you are tough. He had too many interceptions, but that was because he wasnt afraid to try and fail. This even though he gave coaches fits along the sidelines. You can remove Manning and Brady from that list. I dont know how you guys can put players up there who are still playing all-time greats. You forgot Johnny Unitas who defined the quarterback position.

He has a lot of records that dont necessarily have anything to do with longevity. Say toughness and clutch playing and people think Favre. |

Thats the problem with these lists. You have to broaden it a bit. Marino definitely belongs on it. He first set all those records Favre broke. I thought about you pundit when I heard this. Bet you are really sorry there will be no more "will he or wont he?" posts. |

| Re: Is Brett Favre An All-Time Great I love Bret Favre but top 5? No. Top 10? Without a doubt. Probably number 6 or 7. From the merger era a tentative listing: 1. Montana, 2. Marino, 3. Staubach, 4. Elway, 5. Brady, 6. Manning 7. Favre |
