Packers seek help for Grant

The Packers are going to keep their run game and are looking for a second quality runner to pair with Ryan Grant.
Neither Brandon Jacobs or Deshawn Wynn look like they could either push Grant for the starting job or provide anything close to what Grant does is Grant were to get hurt.
Packers might draft a RB.

PackersNews.com - Packers to keep run game, seek help for Grant

The fact that the Packers are keeping the run game most certainly isnt a surprise. I believe that the run game was largely instrumental in getting the Packers as far as they did. As good as Favre looked last year, he couldnt have done it without the support of the run game. Disagree anyone?

Maybe they can take Kevin Smith, the UCF back...he will slip down a few rounds but he is an awesome back and his 4.42 time in the 40 yesterday was darn good.

Nah, I see this team going for more of a veteran back. Maybe a Deshaun Foster.

Disagree. I see this team drafting a back.
How is fumble fingers an improvement over Jacobs or Wynn?

Fumbleitis can be beaten with good coaching. Just look at Tiki Barber.

True, but I'm not so sure Green Bay can cure it. And do they want to take a chance on a back thats known for fumbling, or do they take a chance on the youngster in the draft?

LOL...Foster is no Tiki though...what a disappointment he is...I had high hopes for him when he came out of UCLA

I dont think ryan grant is anything special, he is just an average back, most of his success is due to their Oline. I do think they should go after a powerback like Jacobs in the draft, he would be a good add on

Naw bud, I hate the Packers but Grant is a great back. He could break at any given time a lot like Willie Parker.

I think someone is still holding a grudge over a certian playoff game

If it was just because of their O-line then why werent the other 2 backs successful?
