Tight end likely high on Packers' wish list

With the release of Bubba Franks, Ted Thompson has the chance to make the tight end a bigger threat because there is a deep draft class at that position this year. Franks was never more than a solid blocker and a good red zone threat because of his limited speed and quickness.
Thompson could use a 1st or 2nd round draft pick at the tight end position.
Donald Lee is the starter.

Its been a while since the Packers had a good tandem at that position. This benefit McCarthy's offense.

No, I think they will draft a young player. Crumpler wouldnt be any better than Franks in my book.

Probably the only times I dont see a Packer logo are the days I stay at home. No Packer logos here.
Oops, just had to edit this. I just saw a Packer logo on tv. So guess the answer is I always see a Packer logo somewhere. Forgot the newspaper too.

Yeah, Crumpler really wouldn't be much of an upgrade from Franks. I think Bette's right here - they'll look to the draft.

PS Seahawker I just saw a Packer logo in church. The guy ahead of us had a Packer jacket on. I never realized before just how much I am surrounded by it.
