Packers and Campbell's Soup tackle hunger

Green Bays Packers players Brady Poppinga and Noah Herron helped distribute more than 13,000 cans of “Campbell’s Chunky” soup to 15 Wisconsin area food banks Thursday morning.

An additional 1,000 cans will be split between two Brown County pantry’s, following a record season and dominating win in the “Campbell’s Chunky soup Click for Cans” online food drive. The soup-er donation represents the weight of the official Green Bay Packers roster in soup cans, which will benefit those in need in Wisconsin.
Each fall for the past eight seasons, “Campbell’s Chunky” soup has invited fans from across the country to vote for their favorite NFL team and help make a difference in their community through the “Click for Cans” online food drive. The Green Bay Packers’ fans crushed their competition by registering 2,542,009 votes, securing their sixth consecutive victory in the competition.

Nice. Way for the Packer fans to represent, and for a good cause to boot!

I forgot about this this year. It was on the NFL page. I used to go and click for the Cowboys all the time.
Gee, I wonder if this means Packer fans are a bit more civic minded than the rest of us.

Well I think its fairly obvious that they are the most liked team in the NFL, even more than Dallas. I knew they would win, no matter how many times i clicked for seattle

And let's face it... how many of the people who were clicking for the Packers were actually team owners?

One year they somehow got caught cheating and they had to suspend the website for a while. I forget what the whole story was, but there was some controversy.
