Two cold Hard Facts about Favre

It's a cold, hard fact: Brett Favre has a 43-5 record at Lambeau Field when the temperature is 34 degrees or below.
It's another cold, hard fact: Brett Favre does not like cold weather.
He really won't like it Sunday night when temperatures are forecast in the single digits -- before the wind chill. But he will find a way to perform and persevere.

"But he will find a way to perform and persevere."

...perform and persevere through rough conditions and having to run around all night.

Running around will keep him warm all night.

Probably the Elias Sports Bureau. They get paid darn good money to put together stats like this for sports media. It's a job I'd love, I'll tell you that!

He also can't win at Dallas so he is luck he gets to play at home, cold or no cold...

Re: Two cold Hard Facts about Favre

There is no advantage for either teams in this extreme cold. Just because you live where it is cold doesn't mean you are out running around in it. I think both teams will rely on a lot of short passes. Remember, the biggest play of the Ice Bowl was a little screen dump to Donnie Anderson that he took for a long way to set things up late.

Re: Two cold Hard Facts about Favre

Does anyone think the cold will have an adverse effect on the handling of the ball? Will we see fumbles and lots of drops?

Didn't bother Green Bay to much last week. Couple of fumbles...other than that Favre was on. Green Bay raised hell. I think Eli will have it rough.

Re: Two cold Hard Facts about Favre

Another cold hard one about Favre is that although he has thrown the most TD passes and for the most yards, he was done in once more by the other career stat that he owns, the most interceptions.
