| Ryan Grant Someone wondered in another thread where Grant came from and why he was hanging out practice squads. That made me wonder too. This may explain it. 2005/2006 NFL Season Signing as an undrafted free agent,[2] Grant spent 2005 on the Giants practice squad, but missed the entire 2006 season after a non-football related injury threatened his career: Grant was at a nightclub when someone bumped into him; when he went to brace himself his left arm went through several champagne glasses, severing an artery, a tendon and the ulnar nerve in his left arm. Grant almost bled to death and doctors at the time told him he may not regain the use of his left hand.[3] While on injured reserve he coached, lending his expertise at Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington, New Jersey, earning the admiration of the student athletes and coaches.[3 Ryan Grant - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

| Re: Ryan Grant Yeah, but Droughns had already had succes in the NFL...and I think Grant probably was not getting enough reps to shwocase himself...then again, he could be one of those guys who is more of a game day performer. |

| Re: Ryan Grant In 2006 the Packers beat the Bears. In 2007 the Bears beat the Packers. Both years, the better team lost. What does it take to win? How much is talent, and how much is heart? Maybe he got some heart, coming back from the accident. |
