Wisconsin independent retailer Boston Inc. is, in effect, betting thousands of dollars that the Green Bay Packers won't win the Super Bowl.
The company announced that purchases made in its eight stores through New Year's Day 2008 will be free if the Packers win the Super Bowl on Feb. 3, 2008.
The company operates Furniture & ApplianceMart stores in De Pere, Oshkosh, Plover, Rhinelander and Wausau, and the Ashley Furniture HomeStores in Appleton, Green Bay and Plover.

Ever so often some retailer does something like this. One year some guy lost a lot of money.
I think this guy is safe though. At least I hope so.
