| Out in the Cold For decades, the Green Bay Packers were legendary for using the cold weather to their advantage, but like everybody else in the NFL, they no longer practice outside all the time. Thursday, McCarthy had his team practice in the indoor comfort of the Don Hutson Center across from Lambeau Field. However, the doors stayed open, so the Packers could feel at least some of the elements they’ll face in Chicago on Sunday and kicker Mason Crosby was sent to Lambeau so he could adjust to the cold and wind. McCarthy says the team gets more done inside, but at the same time, he doesn’t want them to whimper in the cold down the stretch so he’s thinking about moving the team drills outside. Green Bay will have at least three cold-weather games coming up. Pierce County Herald
