Re: Green Bay vs. Denver MNF At stake Both teams are in the hunt for division crowns. The Packers are one game in front of the second-place Lions in the NFC North. The Broncos moved into a second-place tie with the Chargers in the AFC West, a half game back of the Chiefs. Key matchup: Packers quarterback Brett Favre vs. Broncos cornerbacks Champ Bailey and Dre' Bly. The NFL's all-time interception king faces two of the top cornerbacks in the game. Favre passed George Blanda on the all-time list and now has 276 career interceptions. But Favre has been known to throw a touchdown, or two, as well. Bailey (thigh) and Bly (shoulder) are both battling injuries, but coach Mike Shanahan expects them to be ready to play. Bailey and Bly rank first and second among active cornerbacks for most interceptions since 1999.

Re: Green Bay vs. Denver MNF This game is something else. Looks like the Packers have a run game. At least I think so. Broncos dont have a rush defense so its kind of hard to tell. How about those long drives that end up with 3 points. Denver cant count. Either too many or too little players on defense. Is this related to the mighty Denver team I have seen in the past????? Penalties, penalties, penalties. How does Denver always manage to get a running back? Selvin Young looks good. Ooops, Favre just slipped and fell on his butt. That little piece with Deanna was very touching. Sniff sniff. Remember the game against Oakland and Green Bay won 41-7? As I remember, that Oakland team was really bad. How come no one said anything about running up the score then? Lynch got hurt and the Bronco D got a whole lot worse.

Re: Green Bay vs. Denver MNF 17 penalties total in the 3rd quarter. Reminds me of a few Cowboy games in the past. This Packer team has been a surprise but they just arent that good. Of course, then again, I dont think the Lions are for real either.
